SUMMARY:The Executive Assistant to the CEO will work directly with the CEO and be responsible for the provision of executive-level support to the CEO, the coordination of the administrative function within the CEO Office while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and diplomacy. The executive Assistant to the CEO will also provide assistance in all aspects of the development and execution of corporate communications for both internal and external audiences.  This position must be able to work independently with limited or no supervision.  The ability to interact with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role.

DUTIES: Effectively manage and prioritize the CEO's time, calendar and deliverables. Ensures the CEO is briefed on his daily schedule and adequately prepared for meetings. Compiles and ensures timely submission of CEO Reports to the Suquamish Tribal Council and the PME Board of Directors. Support CEO as key liaison for strategic relationship management and communications regarding meetings, conference calls, invitations and interviews. Assist the CEO by reading, researching, routing and creating written and oral correspondence while exercising a high degree of discretion and confidentiality. Ensure urgent and priority correspondence and matters are communicated in a timely and effective manner to the CEO. Responsible for the coordination of travel for management. Assists the CEO in the researching, drafting and delivery of the PME Quarterly Report, quarterly newsletters to the Tribal membership and the PME Annual Plan. Assist in the creation and delivery of corporate messages in a thoughtful, polished tone that matches the voice and values of PME. Share company information through a combination of methods including company intranet and website, electronic and print newsletters, posters, flyers, internal memos, ensuring the messages reach their intended audience and are widely understood. Prepare for, coordinate and attend Board meetings and take minutes. Produce and/or collaborate in the production of executive presentations and reports including the compilation of preparatory documents. Participate in senior leadership meetings, taking detailed notes and monitoring all follow up items ensuring that follow up items occur as scheduled. As directed by the CEO, plan, coordinate and oversee meeting preparation and logistics including packet production. Develops and maintains a filing and e-filing system. Maintains the office in an efficient and productive manner by implementing and maintaining supply inventory systems, anticipating needed supplies, ordering supplies, and managing all aspects of office equipment maintenance. General administrative duties and special projects with constantly moving priorities. Administrative duties to include budget expenditures, the coordination of CEO travel and the preparation and submittal of the CEO's expense reports. Special projects and other duties as assigned as this role may evolve over time. Promote the corporate image by professionally representing the CEO and PME internally and externally

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in communications, business or related field is required. A minimum of three years of administrative experience required. Two-year experience in a similar role preferred.
